The EliteProspects Rinkside 2020 NHL Entry Draft QMJHL Watch List

The last draft generally proved to be down years for the QMJHL. A few names managed to rise to the top, but the league was generally under-represented, especially on the first day of the draft.

It will be a different story this year.

Alexis Lafrenière, elite talent and potential first overall pick, leads a strong QMJHL 2019 crop of prospects, many of which are establishing themselves as early candidates for first-round selections.

The majority of those players made a name for themselves last year with productive 16 and 17-year-old seasons and now continue to impress, taking steps forward and succeeding in bigger roles at the dawn of the 2019-20 season.

Here is a list of ten prospects, skilled in their own unique way, you should keep an eye on as the QMJHL campaign unfolds.
