VIDEO: EP Rinkside Top 10 Goals of the Week #2

We’re back!

Another action-packed week of hockey is in the books, and with the World Juniors a mere 15 days away, we’d like to tease you with some nifty goals from the world of prospects. Some of these players will be on the ice to play for their countries in Vancouver and Victoria, so make sure you get a whiff of what they can do!

10. Maxim Cajkovic, RW/LW, Saint John Sea Dogs (QMJHL)

It’s always good to know where the candy is.

9. Morgan Frost, C, Sault Ste Marie Greyhounds (OHL)

Toe drag and triple screen. Good luck, Mr. Goalie.

8. Nicolas Mattinen, D, Hamilton Bulldogs (OHL)

The Leafs may be looking to improve their D right now, they might not have to look very far in the future.

7. Trey Fix-Wolansky, RW, Edmonton Oil Kings (WHL)

We just love this kid. How can he not be on Team Canada?

6. Adam Boqvist, D, London Knights (OHL)

On the list last week, on the list this week, look out for Boqvist next week.

5. Mitchell Hoelscher, C, Ottawa 67’s (OHL)

The Devil is in the dekes.

4. Samuel Fagemo, LW/RW, Frölunda (SHL)

Well, it’s just the best goalie in the league. And that penalty shot just won the game against the reigning Swedish champions.

3. Nikita Pavlychev, C, Penn State (NCAA)

“Go scare someone else with your golden helmets.”

2. Filip Cederqvist, LW/RW, Växjö Lakers J20 (Swedish Junior)

Elias Pettersson was with this club last year. He did this a lot. Works for Cederqvist, too.

1. Atte Tolvanen, G, Northern Michigan Univ. (NCAA)

We still think his kid brother is the better goalscorer. But we’ll forget about that for now.
